Administration

Principal of Ashby Elementary School and the Director of the NMRSD Extended Day Program.  Mrs. Cromwell-Gapp, better known as Mrs. C, has been a part of the NMRSD since July 2005. Prior to holding this administrative position, she served as an administrator for a neighboring district for five years. For the past 38 years, her educational career has included the following roles: Preschool Teacher, Day Care Director, Kindergarten Teacher, Third Grade Summer School Teacher, Before and After Child Care Director, Assistant Principal, and Principal. My educational experiences have shaped my educational philosophy of all students can learn, just not in the same way on the same day. By providing a positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, a committed and focused educational team, an encouraging and supportive school community, all students will succeed. All of which, NMRSD possesses. When she is not at school, you will find her by the beach, lake or pool with a good book. Other interests include being active and being creative. 

Mrs. C. has obtained her CAGS from Keene State College located in Keene, New Hampshire in Educational Leadership, a Master's from Salem State University located in Salem, Massachusetts in Early Childhood Education, and a Bachelor's from Elmira College located in Elmira, New York in Elementary Education.
